LATEST ANNOUNCEMENTS
The International Radio and Search and Rescue Association (UTAK) is a non-governmental organization established in Turkey in 2025 to minimize the loss of life in disasters and emergencies, and to support the community.
Based in Izmir, our association has built and continues to expand a wide network through various branches and representative offices both in Turkey and abroad.
Our Aim
In line with the competencies of our members, we aim to:
- Raise awareness within the society and ensure preparedness for disasters by providing training on subjects such as search and rescue, first aid, and disaster awareness.
- Carry out aid activities quickly and effectively during disasters.
- Intervene in emergencies experienced by communities by cooperating with public institutions and other non-governmental organizations.
UTAK operates as a structure where volunteers and professionals work together. Our goal is to intervene in the fastest way possible and save lives in all types of disasters, forest fires, and extreme sports accidents. Additionally, our association enhances the competencies of search and rescue teams and volunteers by organizing training programs in this field.
We are dedicated to ensuring the community is aware of disasters, prepared, and plays a more effective role in search and rescue activities. As UTAK, we aim to increase societal awareness through pre-disaster trainings while also conducting post-disaster rescue operations.
HOPE IN EVERY STEP,
LIFE IN EVERY HEART.
